For Immediate Release

Boys and Girls Club of Durham Offers a Youth Leadership Program.

Boys of Girls Club of Durham is pleased to offer Keystone Club on Tuesday nights beginning October 2nd. The Program will be based at the Northview Community Centre at 150 Beatrice Street E. in Oshawa and will run from 6:30-9:15 p.m. There is a van shuttle service from the 433 Eulalie Avenue location.

Keystone is sponsored by the Coca-Cola Foundation and is Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada’s national leadership development program for youth 13 (turning 13 by December 31st, 2018) to 18 year olds.
Keystone Clubs provide youth with the knowledge and skills to make positive choices in their lives as well as a place to use their creative skills to make a difference in their Clubs and communities. The program is intended to be youth-led as much as possible, with Club staff acting as advisors to their leadership journey.

Throughout the program, Keystone participants will complete at least one activity in each of the five core areas: Leadership, Teamwork, Healthy Choices, Service to Club and Community, and Learning for Life.

The program is open to all youth living in the community.
