About Our After School Program

Every year the Boys and Girls Club of Durham engages hundreds of young people in our safe, child friendly environment where everyone of them can achieve their full potential. Our club provides the key elements of community support that are essential for enabling healthy development and positive outcomes for child and youth.

After-school programs offered at all units run from Monday to Friday starting September 5, 2017 and ends the last day of school in 2018. Healthy snacks are provided each day and programs will focus on physical activity, personal wellness, nutrition and offer a homework club. Participants will focus on leadership skills in addition to sports, games, computer lab, cooking class, drama, interactive challenges and much more.

Funswims are offered for our club members at the Eastview Unit on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Children attending the school-based After School programs must be six years of age or older.
