Power Off and Play Challenge

Power Off and Play Challenge

The Challenge...

Take up the challenge to reduce your family's screen time. Participate in free events and win fun prizes while working towards a healthier lifestyle. Families are challenges to track their screen time each week over several months - families will have opportunities to attend free events, will receive free resources and will be entered to win prizes each month.

The Boys and Girls Club will be hosting a number of free programs including Friday Family Fun Nights, Saturday Afternoon Recreation programs and fun swims! Other community agencies, including the City of Oshawa, the Oshawa Public Library, CAREA and We Grow Food, will also be providing free activities.

We will keep you up to date on upcoming events through a regular newsletter designed specifically for the families involved in this challenge.

Register soon! We only have space for 100 families to be involved in this fun-filled challenge. Any family in Oshawa with children under the age of 12 can participate in this challenge by signing-up before February 15th, 2018. Challenge your friends and neighbours to take the challenge with you!

Contact (905) 728-5121 x0 or trussell@bgcdurham.com for more information about how to get started in this challenge!
