“This is a great opportunity for parents to know that their children are in a safe, well supervised environment socializing with other kids during those critical after school hours”, said Lisa McNee Baker, Executive Director. The School Based After School Programs will operate for three hours from the time the dismissal bell rings at the schools and will be open to the children aged 6-12 who attend the school. The After-School Program is a fully supervised program where participants can enjoy a healthy snack, get help with their homework, participate in gym time or crafts, play games and much more.
The Boys & Girls Club is a High Five Accredited Child Serving agency and has been operating the After School program for 50 years.
Space is limited. To reserve a spot in the program or for membership information, please contact Executive Director, Lisa McNee Baker at 905-728-5121 ext. 222 or email lmcneebaker@bgcdurham.com.
