Lisa Blue

Sean McNamara President 

Sean McNamara is a resident of Bowmanville and long time supporter of BGC Durham. Sean was a board member from 2012 to 2018 and served as past president from 2016 to 2018. 

Along with BGC Durham, Sean is also a long standing member on the Board of Directors for the OSCC55+ (Oshawa Senior Community Centres) and is currently 2nd Vice President and Past Finance Committee Chair. 

Aside from community involvement, Sean is a Registered Insurance Broker with Bryson Insurance Brokers, specializing in providing risk solutions for business owners across Canada. 

Lisa BlueLisa Coulter-Dominguez
Past President

Lisa Coulter-Dominguez is a resident of Whitby and grew up in Oshawa. Lisa has a strong affiliation with BGC having taken swimming lessons as a child swimming at the Eulalie location and later became a volunteer at a satellite school program during the evenings and on weekends. Lisa believes BGC provides a safe, welcoming place for children of all ages to learn and have fun! Currently Lisa works in real estate sales with Re/Max Jazz in Oshawa. Prior to this, Lisa has over 30 years of Human Resources experience in the IT sector. She holds a degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and completed a graduate program at the illustrious Rotman School of Business at the University of Toronto as well as having received the highly lauded designation of CHRL – Certified Human Resources Leader. Lisa loves to travel with her husband, loves animals and helps at a rescue, likes to read and golf.

Vipin Khullar
Treasurer

Vipin is a resident of Ajax. He joined the board in September 2021, seeing an opportunity to join an organization making a positive impact in the lives and development of children and youth. Vipin is an experienced finance executive in the technology and media sectors working for various companies, including Constellation Software, IBM Canada and Rogers Media. Outside work and community involvement, Vipin enjoys spending time with his family and 2 young children, traveling, trying to consistently keep his golf score below 100 and watching sports.

Karen JacksonKaren Jackson
Secretary

Karen is a resident of Pickering. She has a BA in Criminology from the University of Toronto. She has worked as a Corporate Law Clerk for the past 25+ years both as an employee for various law firms and more recently, as an independent contractor. Karen is also a real estate investor in the Durham Region. Karen has 2 daughters and knows the importance of having a place where kids can be themselves and have fun. She enjoys reading sci-fi books at Starbucks and spending time with her family.

Heather CookHeather Cook
Director

Heather Cook was called to the Ontario bar in 2002 and has spent her entire legal career with the Durham Crown Attorney’s Office. Heather has a long-standing interest in matters of youth justice and was involved in the early development of the Youth Justice Committee. For the past 2 years she was responsible for case managing all the youth files in the entire Durham Region and got to see first-hand the positive impact that the Youth Justice Department of BGC Durham has on the community it serves. Heather is looking forward to putting her professional experience to good use in working with the members of the Board, staff and volunteers to enhance the mission, vision and values of the Club.

Rohit Khona

Rohit Khona
Director

Rohit joined BGC Durham's Board of Directors in July 2021 and is excited to be a part of this awesome organization. Growing up in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, he was a Club Member at the Caledonia Boys and Girls Club and credits the organization with his early success at school and finding a place in the community.

Rohit is currently a Partner & Head of Financial Services Consulting at Wipro Canada, a large Global IT & Services Company. His professional career spans 17 years in Banking & Financial Services, he worked at IBM, CGI, and was a co-founder for a start-up in the Renewable Energy Sector. 

Rohit is an advocate for giving back and encouraging children and youth to reach their fullest potential, recognizing that they are Canada's future. Outside of work, Rohit enjoys spending time with his young family with two children. He like to travel, engage with his community, and stays active by playing basketball, tennis, and golf. 

Nikki Mc Phee

Nikki McPhee joined BGC Durham’s Board of Directors in May 2018. Nikki’s family have been longtime Club Members and serving as a Director is her way of giving back to the Club. Nikki has 20+ years in the dental field in various positions and enjoys spending her free time with her family.

Cassandra PatrickCassandra Patrick
Director

Starting her relationship with BGC as a club kid, Cassandra joined BGC Durham's Board of Directors in January 2021. An entrepreneur at heart, she is also a marketer, a branding specialist, and a writer. With 15+ years of marketing experience and a passion for the digital landscape, Cassandra uses her vast knowledge of the online media landscape to craft creative marketing and content-driven strategies that help your brand get noticed and grow.

Antoinette Bo D

Antoinette Lewis
Director

Antoinette Lewis began volunteering at BGC Durham in March 2022 after witnessing the significant impact the organization has on the lives of young people in the community, including her own children. In October 2022, she joined the Board of Directors to contribute to BGC at a deeper level.
Antoinette was called to the bar in Ontario in 2008. She started her career in Toronto, practicing mainly criminal law. She subsequently opened her own firm while also working with Legal Aid Ontario, and teaching law courses in Continuing Education at Seneca College. After having her second child, Antoinette joined Legal Aid Ontario on a full-time basis, where she is currently employed. She works in Durham providing legal assistance to youth and lower income individuals dealing with matters in criminal law and family law.
